Virginia High School Softball - Independence loses to Riverside

The Riverside Ram softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Independence to 0 in the Ram league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Riverside moves its record to 14-1 on the year. The Ram host Herndon (Herndon, VA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league game on Monday, April 29. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 4-10. Herndon lost 4-3 in their recent non-league game against Wakefield School (The Plains, VA)
In their next game, the clash with the Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA) in a Potomac game, on Tuesday, April 30. Independence will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Bolts come into the game with a 16-0 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA).
