Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kempsville Chiefs (Virginia Beach, VA), 10-1 in a league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they host Green Run for a Beach challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Kellam will face a Stallions squad coming off a 18-2 league loss to Cox (Virginia Beach, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 0-9.
With the loss, Kempsville falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Great Bridge won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA)
