Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Stingers now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host DuBois Central Catholic for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Marion Center will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Wellsville (Wellsville, NY). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Purchase Line falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Red dragons travel to Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 1-11. Blacklick Valley lost 14-13 in their recent league challenge against Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA)
