The Moon Area Tigers softball team (Moon Township, PA), was routed 9-5 in Thursday's league test with the visiting Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA)

Coming up next, the Fightin' Planets encounter the West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 test, on Monday, April 29. Mars will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 6-0 record after their 16-1 league win over New Castle (New Castle, PA).

The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their test against New Castle (New Castle, PA). The Hurricanes come into the WPIAL 5A 3 test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, New Castle edged Mars (Mars, PA), 11-7, in a league test.
