The Southeast Halifax Trojans softball team (Halifax, NC), was routed 13-7 in Thursday's league test with the visiting Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC)

Coming up next, the Jaguars encounter the Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) in a Tar Roanoke 1A test, on Saturday, April 27. Northampton County will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers enter the test with a 1-6 record after their 17-1 league loss to Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC).

The Trojans (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC). The Jaguars enter the Tar Roanoke 1A test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Rocky Mount Prep was routed by Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC), 25-10, in a league test.
