The Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY) baseball got by the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), 6-5 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hart County for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 28.

With the defeat, Metcalfe County drops to 5-10 on the year. The Hornets host Clinton County (Albany, KY) to clash with the Bulldogs in a District 16 challenge on Monday, April 28. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Clinton County won 7-1 in their recent non-league challenge against York Institute (Jamestown, TN)
