The Altoona Railroaders baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Osceola Chieftains to 1 in the Railroaders league win on Friday.

The Railroaders now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau for a non-league test on Friday, April 25. Altoona will clash with a Red Hawks team coming off a 9-6 league win over Westby (Westby, WI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 7-4.

With the defeat, Osceola drops to 2-7 on the year. The Chieftains host Amery (Amery, WI) to clash with the Warriors in a Middle Border test on Tuesday, April 29. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 6-6. Amery won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Unity (Balsam Lake, WI)
