The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA) and the host Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA), witnessed Atlee's baseball team knock off Mechanicsville by a count of 6-0.

The Raiders now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland Springs for a Capital challenge on Monday, April 28. Atlee will clash with a Springers team coming off a 10-2 league win over Varina (Richmond, VA). The Springers record now stands at 5-5.

With the defeat, Mechanicsville drops to 10-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to King George (King George, VA) to clash with the Foxes in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 28. The Foxes go into the challenge with a record of 8-6. King George won 15-1 in their recent league challenge against James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA)
