South Carolina High School Baseball - Berkeley sneaks past Stratford

In Friday's league game, the host Berkeley Stags baseball team scored a close 6-5 victory over the Stratford Knights.

The Stags (12-10) will now prepare for their game against Cane Bay (Summerville, SC). The Cobras enter the 5A Region 6 game with a 10-10 record. In their last game, Cane Bay was tipped by Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 13-3, in a league game.

Next, the Knights face the Goose Creek Gators (Goose Creek, SC) in a 5A Region 6 contest, on Monday, April 28. Stratford will attempt to move on its 16-4 season record. The Gators come into the contest with a 4-14 record after their 9-1 league loss to Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
