In Friday's non-league battle, the host Toombs County Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 8-1 victory over the Chattooga Indians.
The Bulldogs (18-10) will now prepare for their battle against Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 12-17 record. In their last battle, Chattooga held off Coosa (Rome, GA), 28-8, in a league battle.
Next, the Indians face the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 25. Chattooga will attempt to better on its 12-18 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 17-10 record after their 7-0 league loss to Vidalia (Vidalia, GA).
