The Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) baseball the visiting Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM), 7-5 in Friday's league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they host Farmington for a 5A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 29. Cibola will clash with a Scorpions team coming off a 6-3 league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Scorpions record now stands at 15-8.
With the defeat, Rio Rancho drops to 17-6 on the year. The Rams travel to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to clash with the Panthers in a 5A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 15-9. Piedra Vista lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM)
