The Cleveland Storm triumphed over the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers baseball squad by a score of 11-1 in Friday's league outing.
Next up, the Storm encounter the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 1 outing, on Tuesday, April 29. Cleveland will attempt to advance on its 17-7 season record. The Hawks enter the outing with a 14-10 record after their 6-3 league win over Farmington (Farmington, NM).
The Panthers (15-9) will now prepare for their outing against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Rams enter the 5A District 1 outing with a 17-6 record. In their last outing, Rio Rancho was overwhelmed by Cibola (Albuquerque, NM), 7-5, in a league outing.
