Virginia High School Baseball - Riverheads holds off Fort Defiance

In Friday's league game, the visiting Riverheads Gladiators baseball team scored a close 9-5 victory over the Fort Defiance Indians.
The Gladiators (9-1) will now prepare for their game against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Cougars enter the Shenandoah game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Stuarts Draft was overwhelmed by Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 6-5, in a league game.
Next, the Indians face the Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) in a Shenandoah game, on Tuesday, April 29. Fort Defiance will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Storm enter the game with a 2-7 record after their 7-2 league loss to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA).
