In Friday's league game, the visiting Grant Generals baseball team scored a nice 16-1 win over the Jefferson Democrats.

The Generals (10-6) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln (Portland, OR). The Cardinals go into the 6A Portland Interscholastic game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Lincoln knocked off Franklin (Portland, OR), 10-0, in a league game.

Next, the Democrats play the Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic game, on Tuesday, April 29. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Roughriders go into the game with a 4-12 record after their 24-5 league loss to Ida B. Wells (Portland, OR).
