California High School Baseball - Hilmar held off by Ripon

Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hilmar Yellowjackets (Hilmar, CA), 4-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Ripon moves its record to 10-12 on the season. The Indians travel to Escalon (Escalon, CA) to confront the Cougars in a Trans Valley League match on Tuesday, April 29. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 13-9. Escalon won 14-0 in their recent league match against Orestimba (Newman, CA)

The Yellowjackets now possess a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ripon Christian for a Trans Valley League match on Thursday, May 1. Hilmar will confront a Knights squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Knights record now stands at 13-9.
