Maine High School Baseball - Maine Central Institute defeats Houlton

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME) and the host Houlton Shiretowners (Houlton, ME), saw Maine Central Institute's baseball team gain a win over Houlton by a tally of 10-3.

The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Mustangs enter the Class C North battle with a 0-1 record.

Next, the Shiretowners face the Orono Riots (Orono, ME) in a Class C North battle, on Monday, April 28. Houlton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Riots enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 11-2 league win over Bucksport (Bucksport, ME).
