The Taft School Big Red baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans to 6 in the Big Red league win on Friday.
The Big Red now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity-Pawling School for a Founders test on Monday, April 28. Taft School will play a Pride team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Westminster School (Simsbury, CT). The Pride record now stands at 4-6.
With the defeat, Loomis Chaffee School drops to 6-6 on the year. The Pelicans travel to Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT) to play the Wild Boars in a Founders test on Monday, April 28. The Wild Boars go into the test with a record of 6-5. Choate Rosemary Hall School won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA)
