The Northside Vikings baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host William Byrd Terriers to 4 in the Vikings league win on Friday.
The Vikings now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin County for a Blue Ridge test on Tuesday, April 29. Northside will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 10-3 league win over Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
With the defeat, William Byrd drops to 4-8 on the year. The Terriers travel to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Knights go into the test with a record of 4-7. Cave Spring lost 15-7 in their recent league test against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA)
