New York High School Baseball - Patchogue-Medford holds off Walt Whitman

The Patchogue-Medford Raiders baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Walt Whitman Wildcats to 10 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Patchogue-Medford advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Raiders travel to Lindenhurst (Lindenhurst, NY) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 30. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 3-7. Lindenhurst won 4-3 in their recent non-league match against West Babylon (West Babylon, NY)

The Wildcats now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Longwood for a Section 11 AA-1 match on Tuesday, April 29.
