The Richland Rebels baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Zalma Bulldogs to 2 in the Rebels non-league win on Friday.
The Rebels now own a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Advance for a Class 1 District 2 test on Monday, April 28. Richland will play a Hornets team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Oran (Oran, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 7-9.
With the defeat, Zalma drops to 0-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Delta (Delta, MO) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 30. The Bobcats come into the match with a record of 2-15. Delta lost 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Bernie (Bernie, MO)
