In Friday's league match, the Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA) volleyball squad tipped the host San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA), by a count of 3-2.
Next up, the Pilots confront the San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 26. Banning will attempt to move on its 19-6 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 4-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Panorama (Panorama City, CA).
