In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Bishop LeBlond Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Lutheran Knights.

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Chillicothe (Chillicothe, MO). The Hornets enter the Class 2 District 8 battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Chillicothe tipped Sacred Heart (Sedalia, MO), 5-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Knights battle the Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 28. Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Savages enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 4-0 league win over Benton (St. Joseph, MO).
