The Yuba City Honkers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Placer Hillmen to 2 in the Honkers league win on Friday.

The Honkers now hold a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nevada Union for a test on Monday, April 28. Yuba City will play a Miners team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Reed (Sparks, NV). The Miners record now stands at 8-12.

With the defeat, Placer drops to 1-14 on the year. The Hillmen host Colfax (Colfax, CA) to play the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 14-4. Colfax won 10-0 in their recent league test against Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA)
