The Monticello Mustangs lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets to 2 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Fluvanna County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 30. Monticello will clash with a Flying Flucos squad coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Orange County falls to 1-5 on the year. The Fighting hornets host Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA) to clash with the Black Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Black Knights go into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Charlottesville 8-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Eastern View (Culpeper, VA)
