The Mead Panthers overwhelmed the visiting Ferris Saxons softball squad by a count of 16-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Lewis & Clark Tigers (Spokane, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Mead will attempt to upgrade on its 15-0 season record.

The Saxons (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cheney (Cheney, WA). The Blackhawks go into the non-league challenge with a 2-12 record. In their last challenge, Cheney was routed by Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA), 20-5, in a non-league challenge.
