Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the host Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA), 11-9 in a league battle.

With the victory, Washington-Liberty advances its record to 8-2 on the season. The Generals travel to Lake Braddock (Burke, VA) to encounter the Bruins in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Bruins come into the battle with a record of 5-5. Lake Braddock won 10-9 in their recent league battle against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA)

The Hornets now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Langley for a Liberty battle on Tuesday, April 29. Herndon will encounter a Saxons team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Saxons record now stands at 10-2.
