The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA) and the visiting Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA), observed Armstrong's softball team notch a victory over Gateway by a tally of 15-0.

The River Hawks (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Neshannock (New Castle, PA). The Lancers go into the non-league bout with a 13-0 record.

In their next game, the Gators battle the McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 29. Gateway will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA).
