The St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) softball the host Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA), 17-13 in Friday's league outing.
The Eagles now sport a 24-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ascension Catholic for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 26. St. John will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 23-8.
The Bulldogs (23-9) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John (Plaquemine, LA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 23-8 record. In their last challenge, St. John edged Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA), 10-1, in a non-league challenge.
