The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Old Colony RVT Cougars (Rochester, MA) and the visiting Bourne Canalmen (Bourne, MA), observed Old Colony RVT's softball team notch a victory over Bourne by a tally of 23-9.

The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Cape Cod RVT (Harwich, MA). The Crusaders go into the Mayflower - Small bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Cape Cod RVT was routed by Rising Tide (Plymouth, MA), 13-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Canalmen battle the Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs (Mattapoisett, MA) in a South Coast bout, on Monday, April 28. Bourne will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record.
