The Cascade Kodiaks softball team scored 23 runs and held the visiting Bridgeport Mustangs to 6 in the Kodiaks non-league win on Friday.

The Kodiaks now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chelan for a 1A Caribou Trail battle on Tuesday, April 29. Cascade will confront a Mountain Goats team coming off a 13-3 league win over Omak (Omak, WA). The Mountain Goats record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Bridgeport moves to 4-12 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Manson (Manson, WA) to confront the Trojans in a 2B Central Washington battle on Monday, April 28. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 0-13. Manson lost 17-0 in their recent league battle against Brewster (Brewster, WA)
