In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Danbury Panthers softball team scored a tight 8-3 win over the Iola Bulldogs.
The Panthers (18-6) will now prepare for their match against Iola (Iola, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 6-8 record. In their last match, Iola was routed by Bremond (Bremond, TX), 13-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 26. Iola will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 16-6 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to East Bernard (East Bernard, TX).
