California High School Softball - Del Norte edges San Marcos

April 25, 2025: San Diego, CA 92127

In Friday's league match, the host Del Norte Nighthawks softball team scored a tight 6-4 win over the San Marcos Knights.

The Nighthawks (11-8) will now prepare for their match against San Pasqual (Escondido, CA). The Golden Eagles come into the Palomar North County match with a 9-7 record. In their last match, San Pasqual nipped Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA), 7-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Great Oak Wolfpack (Temecula, CA) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 28. San Marcos will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Wolfpack come into the match with a 16-7 record after their 12-2 league win over Temecula Valley (Temecula, CA).
