The Governor Livingston Highlanders softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Elizabeth Minutemen to 5 in the Highlanders league win on Friday.

The Highlanders now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chatham for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 26. Governor Livingston will confront a Cougars team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Butler (Butler, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Elizabeth moves to 1-11 on the season. The Minutemen host Dayton (Springfield, NJ) to confront the Bulldogs in a UCC - Watchung battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 7-8.
