Virginia High School Softball - Fairfax knocked off by South County

April 25, 2025: Lorton, VA 22079

In Friday's league test, the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA), by a count of 15-0.

Next, the Stallions meet the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) in a Patriot test, on Tuesday, April 29. South County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 14-3 record after their 5-1 league win over Lake Braddock (Burke, VA).

The Lions (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The Cavaliers go into the Patriot test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Woodson was routed by West Potomac (Alexandria, VA), 14-10, in a league test.
