Liberty Union Lions (Baltimore, OH) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Hamilton Township Rangers (Columbus, OH), 20-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Liberty Union upgrades its record to 17-1 on the year. The Lions travel to Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Mid-State - Buckeye game on Monday, April 28. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 17-1. Bloom-Carroll won 11-4 in their recent non-league game against Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH)
The Rangers now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Circleville for a Mid-State - Buckeye game on Monday, April 28. Hamilton Township will play a Tigers squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Logan Elm (Circleville, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 6-11.
