California High School Softball - Hueneme bested by Santa Barbara

April 25, 2025: Oxnard, CA 93033

The Santa Barbara Dons triumphed over the host Hueneme Vikings softball squad by a count of 14-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Dons play the Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA) in a Channel challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Santa Barbara will attempt to upgrade on its 6-18 season record. The Tritons enter the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 14-2 league loss to Buena (Ventura, CA).

The Vikings (6-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Fillmore (Fillmore, CA). The Flashes enter the Citrus Coast challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Fillmore was routed by Pacifica (Oxnard, CA), 4-0, in a non-league challenge.
