Middlesex Bluejays (Middlesex, NJ) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Kennedy Memorial Mustangs (Iselin, NJ), 18-13 in a league game.

With the triumph, Middlesex improves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Bluejays travel to Metuchen (Metuchen, NJ) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, April 26. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 0-8. Metuchen lost 10-1 in their recent non-league game against Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ)

The Mustangs now hold a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Edison for a GMC - Blue game on Tuesday, April 29. Kennedy Memorial will play a Eagles squad coming off a 11-1 league win over East Brunswick Vo-Tech (East Brunswick, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 10-1.
