Nevada High School Softball - Lake Mead Christian Academy drops to Laughlin

Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Lake Mead Christian Academy Eagles (Henderson, NV), 23-13 in a league game.

With the triumph, Laughlin improves its record to 12-8 on the year. The Cougars host Lincoln County (Panaca, NV) to play the Lynx in a 2A- Southern game on Wednesday, April 30. The Lynx enter the game with a record of 13-8. Lincoln County won 5-3 in their recent league game against Awaken Christian (Las Vegas, NV)

The Eagles now hold a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to White Pine for a 2A- Southern game on Friday, May 2. Lake Mead Christian Academy will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 18-8 league loss to Needles (Needles, CA). The Bobcats record now stands at 11-11.
