In Friday's non-league match, the host Shore Regional Blue Devils softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Long Branch Green Wave.
The Blue Devils (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Hornets enter the Shore - A Central contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Holmdel thwarted Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ), 7-4, in a non-league contest.
The Green Wave now hold a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Neptune for a non-league contest on Friday, April 25. Long Branch will face a Scarlet Fliers squad coming off a 16-4 non-league loss to Liberty (Jackson, NJ). The Scarlet Fliers record now stands at 3-9.
