The Sandy Pioneers triumphed over the host Reynolds Raiders softball squad by a count of 19-2 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Pioneers meet the Barlow Bruins (Gresham, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood challenge, on Monday, April 28. Sandy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record.
The Raiders (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Catholic (Portland, OR). The Rams enter the 6A Mt. Hood challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Central Catholic overcame Gresham (Gresham, OR), 9-4, in a league challenge.
