The Valley Cavaliers triumphed over the host Wiscasset Wolverines softball team by a final score of 25-3 in Friday's non-league match.
The Cavaliers (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Buckfield (Buckfield, ME). The Bucks go into the Class D South match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Buckfield was routed by Leavitt (Turner, ME), 4-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 26. Wiscasset will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Bobcats go into the match with a 0-1 record after their 15-5 league loss to Valley (Bingham, ME).
