Boron Bobcats (Boron, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Mammoth Huskies (Mammoth Lakes, CA), 22-2 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rosamond for a High Desert challenge on Thursday, April 29. Boron will battle a Roadrunners squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Bishop Union (Bishop, CA). The Roadrunners record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Mammoth falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Huskies host Frazier Mountain (Lebec, CA) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 29. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
