The Andrean Fighting 59ers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Lowell Red Devils to 2 in the Fighting 59ers league victory on Tuesday.
The Fighting 59ers (12-1) will now prepare for their match against Penn (Mishawaka, IN). The Kingsmen go into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Penn was overwhelmed by Lake Central (St. John, IN), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Red Devils (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN). The Kougars go into the Northwest Crossroads match with a 5-10 record. In their last match, Kankakee Valley edged LaCrosse (LaCrosse, IN), 10-7, in a non-league match.
