Illinois High School Baseball - Bloom loses to Thornwood

In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Thornwood Thunderbirds baseball team scored a tight 13-8 victory over the Bloom Blazing Trojan.

The Thunderbirds (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Raptors come into the Southland contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Rich Township got by Thornton (Harvey, IL), 13-3, in a league contest.

The Blazing Trojan now sport a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Kankakee for a Southland contest on Thursday, April 28. Bloom will encounter a Kays squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Thornridge (Dolton, IL). The Kays record now stands at 11-2.
