The Socorro Warriors baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Hot Springs Tigers to 2 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors (2-16) will now prepare for their match against Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM). The Tigers go into the 3A District 3 match with a 7-12 record. In their last match, Hot Springs was overwhelmed by Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM), 6-5, in a league match.
The Tigers (8-13) will now prepare for their match against Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Warriors go into the 3A District 3 match with a 1-15 record. In their last match, Socorro was overwhelmed by Cobre (Bayard, NM), 10-0, in a league match.
