The Ponaganset Chieftains baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Tolman Tigers to 0 in the Chieftains league victory on Tuesday.
The Chieftains (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Broncos go into the Division 2 match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Burrillville gained a win over North Providence (North Providence, RI), 13-12, in a league match.
The Tigers (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Shea (Pawtucket, RI). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Shea was overwhelmed by North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI), 16-0, in a league match.
