The Reed-Custer Comets got by the visiting Wilmington Wildcats baseball team by a count of 2-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Comets now possess a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host Momence for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 27. Reed-Custer will face a Momence Athletics team coming off a 12-1 league loss to Clifton Central (Clifton, IL). The Momence Athletics record now stands at 4-7.
