The Chariho Chargers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Classical Purples to 1 in the Chargers league victory on Tuesday.

The Chargers now have a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Salle Academy for a State Championship Division game on Thursday, April 28. Chariho will meet a Rams team coming off a 3-1 league win over North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Rams record now stands at 8-0.

The Purples (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons enter the State Championship Division game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Cranston West dropped by South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 3-2, in a league game.
