The Cranston East Thunderbolts volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting East Greenwich Avengers to 1 in the Thunderbolts league victory on Tuesday.

The Thunderbolts now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Hendricken for a State Championship Division game on Friday, April 29. Cranston East will meet a Hawks team coming off a 3-1 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Hawks record now stands at 6-3.

The Avengers (3-4) will now prepare for their game against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Rebels enter the non-league game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, South Kingstown gained a win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI), 3-2, in a league game.
