The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) and the host Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL), saw Richards's volleyball squad beat Shepard by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Richards upgrades its record to 7-10 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South (Calumet City, IL) to play the Meteors in a South Suburban bout on Thursday, April 28. The Meteors go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Reavis (Burbank, IL)

The Astros now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Carmel for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 27. Shepard will play a Golden Aces squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL). The Golden Aces record now stands at 0-1.
